About the programme

The Growth Project; Whakaahu Whakamua is a programme designed to support Māori to achieve their potential in the workplace and progress into leadership positions. Our business partners ensure the long-term sustainability of their businesses by enhancing diversity and creating a culture of inclusion in the workforce.

In our constantly changing society, there are many obstacles graduates face throughout their career and personal journey. Through the establishment of this programme, we can help graduates utilise valuable skills and knowledge from studies and apply them into the world of work. This collaboration will lead to more prosperous and innovative organisations within Aotearoa.

Programme Values -

Indigenous engagement: We are committed to empowering and helping Māori graduates become highly valuable members of an organization by catering to both graduate and organisation needs.

Growth and learning: We are committed to nurturing and creating opportunities for young Māori graduates to gain and develop valuable skills throughout their experience.

Passion: Having the opportunity for Māori graduates in the programme authentically display their passion in their chosen field.
